Re: Operation Aftermath of Severe Crohn’s Disease
Just a quick update, it’s now 3 weeks post op and I’m doing much better. The infection has cleared up but there’s a 2cm deep cavity where the wound opened up. It’s ok though, it’s getting packed every day. My pain is much better and they’ve taken my drain out. Now I’ve got a lovely set of twin bags and my staples keep popping out every so often! Thanks for all the good wishes from the DR community. I am just glad I took the pics to share! I am a big fan of DR and it’s nice to contribute to it!

Prayers. My wife has Diverticulitis and had a stoma. She had a perforated bowel and they sent her home all opened up without a vac for two days. I should post her pics..

Re: Operation Aftermath of Severe Crohn’s Disease
Bloody hell. How are you doing now? I have suffered major trauma in the past but it would have been nothing on what you have been through. I really hope you are doing well and that it has all settled down, allowing you to find your new normal. Chrohn's is a right old cunt of a thing. Stay strong. |
