Operation Aftermath of Severe Crohn’s Disease
So I’ve had Crohn’s disease for 12 years and it is horrendous. I’ve had three operations including a stoma, hernia repair and strangulated bowel release. This latest operation was to remove my colon, form a mucous fistula to drain the necrotic fluid, repair a parastomal hernia, and insert a corrugated suprapubic drain. My staples are infected as you can see the wound is beginning to open in the centre. I’m now 14 days post op and the morphine is keeping me sane.

Re: Operation Aftermath of Severe Crohn’s Disease
My neighbor has Crohn’s disease and gets admitted to the Hospital at least twice a year but she has a mild to moderate form and it's still a lot of hassle she says so i wish you all the best with the healing

Re: Operation Aftermath of Severe Crohn’s Disease
that looks painful and like an awful recovery. i know a few people with crohns disease and i really don't think most people realize how serious it can be. I wish you a speedy recovery. easier said then done though. but i am definitely sending positive vibes.
