Well you guys are just mean. Some of these ladies seem to be proud  . However, alot of times obesity turns into a vicious cycle. Once you reach a certain size... you give up. The only option is to have gastric bypass surgery, but sadly, most insurance will NOT cover this procedure. They say it is cosmetic . My Sister and my Mother both had it. Between the 2 of them, they lost about 350 pounds  . The cheapest most permanent form is the sleeve, which is the first part of the Duodenal Switch. It cost a little more than $17,000. I don't think anyone this size wants to live like that, and I believe there are alot of issues that need to be addressed with some serious counseling. AND guess what?!! I'm sure that they probably binge from depression that most likely stems from comments that I have seen posted on this thread. So go ahead and think about that next time you decide to say some crap like "put down the fork".
