Marleni Rimarachin Colunche is said to have rowed with spouse, Ivan Cespedes Sanchez after he returned home drunk. She suspected him of allegedly being unfaithful. After he fell asleep, it's claimed she took a large knife and cut off his genitals. She then took him to the hospital where they both work in Chota, north of Lima, Peru, claiming his injuries were self-inflicted. After receiving first aid, Iván had to be transferred to a larger facility in Chiclayo because his injuries were so severe on Saturday. He was awaiting imminent transfer to a hospital in Lima for reconstructive surgery. It was only when questioned by police that she reportedly admitted to causing the injuries herself. Ivan, a father-of-five, had to be transferred to a larger facility due to the severity of his injuries. The couple have been together for about four years and have a three-month-old child together. Another woman was reportedly present at the time of the incident, but her identity remains unclear. Both women were arrested and released on bail.   |

Don't know how their health system works or if she can be held liable but atleast in the US she just caused somebody to rack up some hefty medical bills, especially hearing too much trauma & transfered to another. Probably easily $100,000 + just to start in the US.
