Re: Gym Injury
A bodybuilder suffers a sickening leg break on a press machine at a gym. Iron enthusiast Ambrish Patel's left knee buckles under the pressure of what looks like hundreds of kilograms. Pressing his hands into his knees, Patel's legs straighten each time he lifts the weight fully. But at the top of one repetition his left knee caves in completely and his shin juts out in front of him as the platform falls down towards him. Luckily some stops in front of his body prevent the massive weight from crushing his body entirely. Patel was believed to be a regular at the Pehalvaan gym in the city of Vadodara in western India. After being rescued from the gym apparatus, Patel is shown lying on the floor in apparent agony. Onlookers rush to his aid with Patel seemingly still in shock at the site of his leg in such an unnatural position. Patel's leg catastrophe has similarities to that suffered by NFL star Zach Miller. |
