I threw up from the anesthesia the next morning and some of it came out my nose. It was several hours before my appointment to remove it. Imagine vomit and blood soaked gauze packed in your nose and the smell, a pounding headache for hours waiting for my appointment. I can't begin to describe the relief when it was removed.
I have pulled heaps of nasal tampons out (thats what they are called) and ribbon packing and like Dynamo said the relief on the patients face is priceless
That girl just made me sad. They couldn't give her a whiff of something to make that a little easier? Why the fuck do we have all these great drugs for?
