Re: Nose Tip Off
I shouldn't, but After my old man retired, he nearly went bonkers. My old man was in the workforce (full time) for 44 years before finally retiring. Within one year of not working anymore, he became constantly agitated, antisocial and somewhat depressed. Solution - he started working again (part time). Within a couple weeks of starting his new job, he was back to his old self; which was a huge relief for the entire family. Point being - the 69 year old with the new nose job was most likely feeling like an invalid when not working. Apparently it's quite common for new retirees who have been in the workforce for 25-30+ years to have difficulties adjusting to a life of sitting at home and scratching that ass. That being said, due to their age, they can be quite a liability if they continue to work (this story being a perfect example). I'll never forget working the graveyard shift with this 70 year old at my old job. Buddy would leave the office every 3 hours for his break and I'd end up finding him in the same place every time one hour later: snoring away in his van with his dentures on the dashboard |
