theres no excuse for the baby to be in this condition,
if she wasn't feeling good mentally she should have given the
child up for adoption sooner

I agree I have two kids and I never got that bad not to take care of my kids. I hate parents that don't want to take care of what they bring into the world. The kid didn't ask to be born. If you know your not going to take care of the child then give them to someone who does.

Postpartum depression IS horrible (I had it for 3 years) However..... in all of the follow-up Dr's appointments for her baby? WHY did none of them notice something was wrong??????
Her doctors are equally to blame.

The caption says diaper excoriation. I had to look that up: excoriation - abrasion: an abraded area where the skin is torn or worn off . This poor baby was really put through hell.
