My sister in law, Alejadrena, was from Peru. When her and my bro married, she wasn't sure about trusting Western medicime, and found a lump in her breast. She wanted to go back to Peru for treatment, but my brother put his foot down and made her seek treatment immediately. Thanks to him, and with surgery and treatment, she survived the breast cancer. Unfortunately she passed on a year ago after the cancer returned-this time settling into her liver. |

Poor woman. The other breast looks like it is cancerous to. Red and hard. I look after a lady with breast cancer and it's spreading all under her arm and back. Nasty, hard and red is the only way to describe this growing monster.  |

This is what is terrifying. It always seems to return somewhere or other later. If I were unlucky enough to get cancer I would just be thinking 'what's the point, it's only going to come back somewhere else anyway, even if I do get rid of it". Can't help it. That's just what my head thinks. I don't! My head does!!!  |

When I was younger my aunt found a lump in her breast a month or two before Christmas. She didn't want to negatively affect anyone's holidays during that part of the year so she waited until the following January to get it checked. Her kids have missed her for the past 20+ years. If you find a lump anywhere, don't make that same mistake. Get it checked. |
