this guy has had surgery due to (probably) having a mouth/neck cancer,, by the look of it, he has had whats called a sagittal mandibular split osteotomy, its fascinating to watch these maxillo facial surgeons at work,  |

The cut looks a bit too clinical so I assume he's having surgery and the surgeon has made that cut.
