They used the bone dust from the drilling to seal the bore holes. The holes are still soft and tender to the touch and the saw lines are solid but palpable under my scalp. It took a couple of months if I remember right!

Hats of any type cause headaches due to the slightest pressure aggrivating my skull. I also have scalp allodonya(?) which is a common condition following traumatic injury/surgery. The scalp is hypersensitive to touch and pressure You can develop this anywhere.

I have it on my left foot too following reconstructive & repositioning surgery so I can walk less zombie-like I have more surgery due on the foot.

Wow, glad your ok.

Brain damage also increases the risk of having a stroke and can even cause epilepsy which totally sucks. Especially if you have your first seizure in a disco and people think your breakdancing lol sorry for that bad joke
