Re: My Recovery Continues But...
Thank you WingleesAngel for your kind words and thank you for posting your picture the sweetness of your face put a smile on mine. Prior to me getting sick, I worked for 20 years as a Respiratory Therapist. I specialized in pulmonary rehabilitation and I dealt with a wide range of lung disease and became familiar with a variety of pathologies. If they could not identify a bacteria did they check you for fungus. There is a common soil fungus called Aspergillus that can present or look like a bacterial infection. This fungus normally only effects people who are immunocompromised or have a chronic lung disease. However,it can infect you if you spend a lot of time gardening because it can be picked up through composed heaps. Exposure to damp carpet or fixing a house that has been flooded. It is just a thought, but I wanted to share that with you. I traced backed my steps to figure out my point of infection. Turns out one of the patients I worked with tested positive for H1N1. When I got sick with it, the H1N1 lowered my immune system enough to activate the MRSA that was in my system after 20 years of exposure. It seems that no amount of isolation precautions will guaranty an exposure to a pathogen. I hope you can get to the bottom of your infection. The last thing you need is another out break. I hope this helps and gives you a little more food for thought. Take care and cyber hugs, your friend Darkhorse. |

Re: My Recovery Continues But...
i never ever comment here, but i can actually relate to you, it didnt happened to me , but to my daughter, im 23 years old, and when i was 20 y daughter was one, she never been sick she was always a chubby energetic little baby and all of a sudden i almost lost her, septicemia, they never found out what kind of bacteria got her, or wher the infection started they needed a whole week to stabilize her, they thought she'll never get out of the hospital and suddenly she started getting better, she had thousands of tests and they gave her every type of medicine it existed :s, 2 weeks later she got out but still needing special care at home it took her almost two years to finally be a normal girl again, the first year she was really weak and just wasnt her... now shes a beautiful healthy little girl , i hope you get better, just think about it, if this little baby made it, she had everything against her and was not expected to survive, you are a strong woman you can make it too (sorry for my bad spelling im from mexico, so english is not my mother language)

Re: My Recovery Continues But...
My wife had something like this, took them 9 months to find out it was her heart not pumping enough blood to organs. She went on a strict diet, some meds and is fine now. She was bloating with Bile and had to be "drained" a few times.

I think your English is wonderful (far better than my Spanish or French). I'm so happy that your baby had the love and resources she needed to pull her through. You're wonderful, she may never know who her true hero is in life but don't ever doubt for one second that it's you. Be well. Hugs. |

Re: My Recovery Continues But...
Hoping you look back here, I'll pm if you don't reply ...an abces on your groin? Could you clarify this for me because I have some kind of cyst or something in the curve where the inner thigh meets the lady bits. It first appeared last fall. It would be there for a few weeks then completely go away only to reappear EXACTLY the same place and size as before. I'm still dealing with it as it returned about 4 weeks ago. |
