I think you are right. She mentioned that she changed her sheets and then work up this way. I advise to change the sheets again but make sure the new sheets have been rewashed with hot water and no soap.

Dermatographica. I have it as well. Brought on by stress (probably). There's no cure or known cause and it can come and go for your entire lifetime.

I have, the Dr. recommends an oral antihistamine, but he said there's no known cause or cure. It can last for the rest of your life or only a day and recur at any time. Aveeno calamine lotion helps sometimes too.

You may have stress related hives. Your post at the beginning stated that you were stressed out. That has happened to me twice. I was given a scrip for Hydroxyzine. It calms your nerves and relaxes you.
