My son has cholinergic urticaria. It comes in several different forms. You should check this out.

Words, I have none.

Check out a few posts above yours.
Thanks. It usually works for me and I'm allergic to almost everything. I'm the 0.01% you always hear about :) I'm sorry I can't think of the drug, but, you need a prescription. It's for a bad allergic reaction from an animal or something.

Re: My Personal Itchyness

You definitely want to go to the doctor for an allergy test. It is possible to suddenly develop allergies to something. We had someone in my EMT class develop peanut allergies suddenly when he was 20.

Hopefully, by now, you've seen a doctor, but, the drug is Prednisone and I believe it is a steroid in pill form.

Re: My Personal Itchyness

I have this about 3 months now. In the start it only appeared once a week so I didn't really cared... I don't like doctors...
But when summer's here it appears two-three times a day. Usually when I'm in an appartament (mine, friends, etc.).
I don't think that I changed anything... The only thing is that I have a lot of animals.
That might be just very bad hives,i had it randomly same time every week when i was a kid

Re: My Personal Itchyness

I suffer from chronic urticaria. Non specific hives, in english. I get them if I work out, get a fever, cold, get stressed... they cover my body - groin, neck, face, everything. The docs give me all the xanax I want, but it doesn't work. Diphenhydramine (benadryl) is ineffective as well, except as a prophylactic, and even then requires mega doses when I'm under a stressor, becoming ineffective ultimately. Got a scrip for medical mary jane, and haven't suffered one single bout since...

I hope your animals are worth all the misery. BTW use the extra rinse cycle on your wash. Also change your detergent to one less harsh.
