Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks
It isn't a doily, it's a handkerchief that my deceased great-grandmother crocheted. It isn't a coffin, either, per se, but we bought it for the purpose of burying him. It was a handmade wooden box with a cross engraved into the top. We buried him, as he was a person, and deserved a burial. I took photos because this photo, along with the ultrasound when he was already passed, are the only times I ever got to see my son.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks
I have 2 kids of my own. For what it's worth, I'm sorry. Children are a blessing...I don't care what anyone says. I wish you the best. |

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks
I don't think DarkAngel made a mistake posting here, as some have said. The site is called Documenting Reality, miscarriages are a part of reality. The photo she posted was poignant. I admit fascination at the tiny details I could see even in just a few weeks of gestation. Does it make you uncomfortable because she posted a respectful memento mori, and not photos of the bloody immediate aftermath? DarkAngel, good luck to you in the future. Thank you for posting.
