Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

I'm rather touched by the outpouring of sensitivity from the forum. Thank you all. I hadn't expected it in the least. I just found myself fascinated by the detail... a whole human in just the size of my thumb.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

My ex wife and I went through 3 miscarriages all in the third trimester....we have similar pictures. But we did manage to have a beautiful son who is now 4 years old.

Was a very hard time for us both. I hope things change for you.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

Sometimes it seems that people who abuse their children, live like animals etc always seem to have no problem breeding.
I totally hear you, wtf is up with that

@poster: Sorry to hear for your loss.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

Thank you for sharing such a private picture. So sorry for your loss.

You are obviously a strong woman. I don't understand how some people have no trouble getting pregnant and having children and then others like yourself have such difficulty. Nature is odd. I wish you the best for the future.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

My bro and my sister-in-law have been through a miscarriage about ten years ago: they were so happy when they've found out that she was pregnant and so convinced that it was a female that they started filling with furnitures "her" room.
Then, after some check, they were told that the baby was lost: so, suddenly.
No words can depict the pain and grief that this carried in them: my bro was always used to smile, to joke: after that he started behaving like some lone wolf: i didn't see a smile in his face for YEARS
Fortunately, his employer boss was a good man: his wife had a miscarriage herself years before, so he could relate. He gave to him two months of paid rest, two tickets for a two-weeks all-inclusive trip to Thailand and some extra cash: then he shook his hand and said "DON'T GIVE UP! Your baby will come, keep this thought in your head: see you in two months, have a nice trip".
That probably changed the course of events in my bro's life, because that trip actually helped him and his wife to cope with it. Two years after, his wife gave birth to my nephew. He was affected by some rare disease, which was previously successfully treated in Canada: but in my Country, due to some "ethical code", the procedure was outlaw, since it was involving the use of frozen human plasma. I swear to God, I did came up to the Parliament after writing an article that most of newspapers agreed to publish (for free):
the title was "He's affected by a rare disease but they don't want to take care of him".
I was ready to do something desperate(VERY desperate), but luckily i didn't need to.
After a week of public outrage on newspapers' articles and readers' comments, someone decided to move his ass, and a pharmaceutical company started working on the experimental therapy;
now my nephew is ALIVE, and HEALTHY.
I have online all the official documents, thousands of pages of documents related to my nephew's case, i can send you thelinks via PM.

Sorry for being so long, but it was my way to ask you to don't give up: The power of love is infinite, the one of bad luck is not.
Love as strongly as you can your next baby, and he/she will come. Have a bear hug.

Re: My Miscarried Baby-11 Weeks

That is terrible... all I can say is keep trying. My wife and I tried for 3 years - numerous miscarriages, but one healthy little girl in the end. She's about to turn 1. I believe that even after all the ones we lost, it was the same little being trying to come home all the time. He'll be back.
