Re: My Ingrown Toenail

I got one of those skin tag things on my back I wanna cut of but I can't reach it and my wife won't cut it off... too lazy to go to the doctors.. I m looking for a pair of really long scissors...:o
Not exactly cost effective but what about purchasing a skin tag removal kit from your local pharmacy? It's a cream you apply on the tag once a day for up to a week and the tag eventually falls off by itself.

I removed one skin tag I had on my back near my right shoulder blade with a box cutter and I don't recall feeling much other than pressure and a slight sting. But I was quite drunk at the time so that may have helped numb any pain

Re: My Ingrown Toenail

I had them when I was younger. After 6 years and close to 30 times at the Dr with him cutting on them I had both the toenails on my big toes permanently removed. It makes my toes look funny but no more pain.

Re: My Ingrown Toenail

My feet used to look like that!! The nail would only grow sideways so they cut into the sides of my nail and put some sort of solution so that it wouldn't grow. A small sliver still grows though its totally detached from the nail.

Re: My Ingrown Toenail

I used to have exactly this on both sides of both big toes. The ancillary flesh, infection, and pus. In my case they were self-inflicted because I used to chew my toenails. They were more of an irritant than painful. I had them for years, but eventually they went away on their own.

Re: My Ingrown Toenail

This is more common than you think. I've had ingrown toenail surgery on both big toes and trust me it's a blessing when it's all over. No more ingrown toenails = no more pain
