Re: My Husbands Copperhead Bite

He is walking without a limp. Swelling still there but he was able to put a shoe on. It was a flip-flop but still counts right? He is going in to have the pressure tested in his calf tomorrow. They are concerned about compartment syndrome. I guess it can happen after rapid swelling or sustained swelling. Besides that he is doing fine. Seemingly no noticeable side effects from the antivenom or venom. Thanks for asking.
We love flip flops!

I am glad he is doing well, too.

Flip Flops can be OK.

Just beware of roving assassin motorcyles with 2 armed men on them...and the like.

Re: My Husbands Copperhead Bite

Luckily he was able to wear a shoe unlaced today or I would be concerned. Thank god he doesnt own anything adidas. There would have been a foreign box truck out of nowhere.

I don't really wear them anymore. Sandals in Summer though.

I meant a lot of crime scenes from outside the US usually have victims in flip flops.

Flip flops and pointers!

They are very faithful footwear!

Swelling from full envenomation (I think that is a word) lasts up to 6 weeks. He seems to be going full course.
