Re: My Brother's Battle with Cancer

I recently lost my brother due to lung cancer... He suffered for many years before it finally claimed him... I didn't get to see him as he was very picky as to who he would display his picture too but he went out like a hero...

Re: My Brother's Battle with Cancer

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. Your brother must have loved life, because he wasn't ready to leave yet. He fought the good fight.

Re: My Brother's Battle with Cancer

Also new here, want to say sorry for your loss. I work in a cancer testing lab and SCC is one of the more common cases we get, but this is brutal. Shame thay he had such a shitty oncologist who was so sure...SCC is relatively easily cured with early enough detection. RIP

Re: My Brother's Battle with Cancer

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your brother was a warrior. I recognize that because my best friend was a warrior, too. She fought until the day she couldn't fight anymore.

Thanks be to God! I pray you have many, many more happy and healthy years ahead of you. Or, as the Polish birthday song goes, "Sto-Lat" (may you live to be a hundred).

SCC and BCC tend to be slow growing tumors, the guy must have left it there for a long time for it to spread.
