Re: My Breast Reduction
Police officer, correctional officer, etc... but in my case, it is working with developmentally disabled adults. Put a 3 year old tantrum ability in a 30 year old, 6'4", 200 pound body, and it can be dangerous! Incidentally, the procedure AMightyWind outlined above is called an inferior pedicle procedure. There IS another way to do it in which they do remove the nipple then sew it back on... but it's an older technique and isn't the preferred method. |

Re: My Breast Reduction
It's a lot less painful than I expected! I'm still needing pain pills - after 11 days, but I think that's because they did a little lipo on my sides, not because of the reduction itself. And AMightyWind said that hers wasn't very painful, and she didn't have to use the narcs for more than a couple of days. (This is me being jealous!) |

Re: My Breast Reduction
Yep. I only needed narcs for around 2 days, but I didn't get lipo, which is what I heard is the most painful part. It felt like I was hit in the chest, but that was really the bruising. Also, the stitches felt like they were pulling a little. |

Re: My Breast Reduction
I think the aching I have in my breasts reminds me of PMS. And yes, there's some tugging on the stitches occasionally, depending on movement, or when my nipples get hard. All told, THAT part really isn't bad!

Re: My Breast Reduction
Oh ok. That diagram pretty much explains it. Do they also make the nipple smaller? Hey, if you are ever bored, let me know :] Interestingly, I'm also a virgin. Seemingly related, I also need a breast reduction. I'm 21. And yes, I am a male. Yeah, that makes more sense than an MMA fighter lol. I knew that the nipple way was real, or at least I was told that's how they do it. I'm guessing the way you and Mighty did it is safer than the older way? I thought women would prefer the procedure with less obvious scarring. (Although maybe the nipple way does leave bad scaring/health issues) |

Re: My Breast Reduction
I'm not sure how different the scarring is between the free nipple graft and the inferior pedicle. But your nipple is sewn to your skin in either case. The problem with removing it completely and then sewing it back on is there's virtually no chance of retaining any sensation.

Re: My Breast Reduction
That's oddly funny, except the whole back pain stuff Ok That makes a lot more sense. Sensation > Look. I wouldn't care if my junk was re-arranged into a square peg, if I still had the feeling, it would be fine. [That's weird loooooool. |
