Re: My Breast Reduction

Oh, and I look like a suicide bomber!! I'm all wrapped up, and I've got tubing for the pain pump and drains. And the drain bottles look like see-through blood-filled grenades. It's awesome!

Re: My Breast Reduction

Nice. When I was 16 I had decided to get breast reconstructive surgery and throw in an augmentation. Basically my left breast was un developed... Small a, while the other was a large b. I thought something was wrong with me and I hid it for the longest time! Finally I told my parents and got them fixed and augmented to a large c. But I did have to sacrifice my senior trip to Europe. It was well worth it. You feel so much better about yourself after a decision like that. I'm 30 now and it probably was one of the best decisions I ever made. Good thing you got it taken care of while your young. More time to enjoy the new you!

Re: My Breast Reduction

I'm home and all went well! Feeling a bit loopy because of the Vicodin, and I'm not used to SHARP pain... I can handle tons of DULL pain, but this is new. I'll get used to it, I think.

Aw, you'll get used to it. It will eventually feel like a bruise. And I didn't have drains, but those aren't fun. I'm glad you're doing well.

I can't imagine how much better you felt afterwards!

Re: My Breast Reduction

I'm glad for the drains. I can't imagine having all this extra fluid building up pressure inside! The worst part for me is at my sides under my arms - he did a little lipo there. So every time I get up from our very short couch, I have to push off with my arms, and it irritates the heck out of that area. Other than that, not feeling much pain today!

Re: My Breast Reduction

Takes a lot of guts to post these photos. Thanks for posting them!

Also takes guts to post pictures of your boobs with a person's face next to them lol. Hopefully it's your own face because if it's a friend's face, they are now immortalized on this site, along side your breasts!

Oh, I'm so thankful I didn't have to do lipo under my arms. I heard that's the worst pain.

Well, thank you! And it's totally my face. TOTALLY.

Er, here's another comparison (I don't know if I posted these)

Re: My Breast Reduction

Wow nice. That's a big difference. Your boobs and face are looking great!

Btw, you don't seem like the type of person that would be on this site lol. I think you said you went to a Catholic school. I guess it's because I picture everyone on here as very strange or odd.

Re: My Breast Reduction

My poor friend from work, she desperately needed to size down from her DD's, she is a tiny woman, but the stupid insurance insisted it was not medically necessary, despite the fact that her spine is curved from her breasts toppling her over!

I think it was my fourth or fifth insurance company that finally approved mine... and I was a 34L. It's crazy what insurance will do to get out of paying for a surgery!

Re: My Breast Reduction

One of my drainage tubes came most of the way out last night. We were able to push it back in, but it had leaked all over the gauze. It was just the excuse I needed to unwrap and get rid of the gauze that was driving me batty anyway. LOL Can't believe how much the gauze made me itch!!
