Thanks guys!! Believe it or not I was just wondering about a week before it happened, how do people have their camera on hand or are ready or even remember when stuff like this happens....well, I remembered! LOL He is doing good so far :)

I did ask that and thank God, it will not. He will be 16 in May and his growth plate is just about done growing. They did apply 2 screws above where the growth plate is. I am still trying to figure out how to copy the images from the disk that they gave me with the newest set of x-rays. Thanks for asking! :)

I'm glad he's gonna be ok. Just think, not that long ago, they wouldn't have had the technology to have done that type of work on him. People in the past would have had to put his ankle between two boards, wrap a bunch of cloth strips around them to keep the ankle steady and hope for the best. |
