Mother Tries to Eat Her Newborn Baby After Giving Birth.
A Chinese 24 year old woman was caught while trying to devour her child. Luckily, a hospital nurse in Shenzhen, southern China, went down the hall and warned other professionals. The child's mother was accused of cannibalism, after s he was caught snapping at the baby’s arm trying to tear off pieces! The nurse tried to take the baby out of the mother’s arms, but the mother refused to let him go. She was eventually sedated with sleeping pills and the baby was removed from the site. "It was really shocking! The baby’s arm was badly damaged and suffered not only heavy bruising but bleeding as a result of the bites. Fortunately, doctors were able to soothe the child's mother, preventing her from biting harder, loosening her jaws, "said a hospital spokesman. It’s believed that the mother spent her days on the street, after being kicked out of her home while pregnant. A hospital staff is evaluating whether to return the baby back to her mother.  An investigation into the incident is underway.

Someone needs to evaluate ANY hospital staff that would even consider returning that innocent child to someone who tried to CANNIBALISE THE POOR THING!
