Mother And Daughter Scarred In Acid Attack
Occured in 2010 The woman who was attacked with acid is staying strong – but she will never forgive her husband for scarring their daughter for life. “I will never forgive the man who harmed my kids. he is not my husband. He is a syaitan (satan). Because of him we are going to have a bleak Hari Raya,” said Che Ku Zaimah Ku Awang when Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said visited her. Eight-year-old Nurul Dahyatul Fazlina Khalib was so badly disfigured in the acid attack that Ahmad sobbed openly when he saw her. Even medical officers and members of the media who accompanied him could not hold back their tears. But Ku Zaimah was strong. “This is takdir (fate),” she was heard murmuring. Speaking to reporters outside the ward, Ahmad said he was saddened by the attack and would render help to the family. Che Ku Zaimah, carrying her two-year-old son Md Irfan Firdaus Mohd, and Nurul Dahyatul Fazlina were seriously injured in the acid attack. “Even animals have instincts to not harm their offspring. I am baffled how a father could be so heartless,” he said.  In the incident, a jobless man splashed acid on his family members after he failed to get a RM30 loan from his ex-wife. Apart from Nurul Dahyatul Fazlina and Che Ku Zaimah, two others, Che Ku Zaimah’s mother Minah Omar and her brother Mohd Irfan Firdaus, 28, were injured in the 2am attack at their home in Kampung Sekayu in Hulu Terengganu. The 32-year-old assailant fled shortly after the attack but was detained by police at Kampung Kuala Poh, Pasir Nering in Hulu Terengganu. The man had in his possession a 6cm-long knife, several morphine ampoules and a syringe when he was arrested. State Acting CID chief Supt K. Manoharan said the man tried to escape upon seeing the police team but was detained after a brief struggle. He tested positive for drugs. |

It's hard to believe we are all the same species! WHY do people get the innocents involved? Even IF you hate children, how do you do these things? (Not that I think it's right to do to your wife or girlfriend, but, to a child?!) The baby appears to have a cut and blood on his face. |

I noticed the son was hurt too. =( This is just disgusting. People like this need to be tortured for years, in the way they hurt others. And when they beg for death, merely refuse. Let them heal and have hope...then hurt them over and over again. Keep them barely alive, but alive enough to feel pain and know what they fucking did.
