Calf Fetus Mummification
This occurs in cases of fetal death without involution of the corpus luteum and fetal expulsion, followed by autolytic changes, absorption of the fetal fluids and involution of the placenta. Prognosis is good if the fetus is removed. After the fetus is removed, conception usually occurs 1-3 mo. later. Cow doesn't need any further treatment.
