Re: Mother Attacks ER Workers After Waiting to Help Her Blood Vomitting Drunk 11 Yo
She took a pic of her son, to document the hospital's malaise, he should have been immediately, I think there are criteria for going to "the head of the line" and I think that vomiting blood is one of them, eye injuries also, and copious blood loss. Really I wonder what the haters would do if their kid was, maybe, 20 feet from acute care and nobody did anything. Hope you never have to find out what its like to grasp at straws for your child's life. |

I didnt see her attack anyone? Looked like a womans hysterical reaction to seeing her son in peril. Gore surfing childless morons please stop commenting on parenting, stick to things you know about, like bad music and tattoos. |

Re: Mother Attacks ER Workers After Waiting to Help Her Blood Vomitting Drunk 11 Yo
I understand her reaction and need for urgency, BUT, her kid was in a chair, with multiple staff/officers around. It didn't seem like they could react the way they needed to because mom was too busy yelling and taking video. I know first hand the bullshit that goes on in hospitals. Sometimes, a little yelling is necessary. Medical professionals get burned out pretty quick. Everytime a parent comes in spazzing, it's because there's a Cheerio stuck in the damn kids nose. When the real emergencies roll in, staff get dumb. With that said, kids are going to get into things, no matter how watchful you are. However, a crack habit and heavy drinking should've been noticable before this incident. If mom was remotely engaged with her son's life, she could've prevented the situation. |
