Nope. Sure doesn't. There is no such thing as mercury powder. There is in each such bulb a small amount of mercury vapor. It's very unlikely to get more than a trace amount in your body from stepping on the glass. There is phosphor powder in all sorts of things. Never has it been shown to be a cause of skin lesions such as portrayed here. Since there are no details with this story, no known person and nothing to go on here I am calling this story complete bullshit. Kids now are have videos on youtube busting these tubes over each other and getting cut up way worse. I would love to see the doctors reports on all the rotting wounds from this. |
