That's a medical problem so you are in the right place for it. And it does look bad. How long did you let it go? Why wouldn't you seek treatment for it while it was still small? And why didn't they close the wound up smaller? I hope you take some update photos. Not that I am into looking at some guys ass and all but it would be nice to see it healed up later.
Its that bad cos I was stubborn and let it drag on hoping it would go away. Its that big because the hair can route around (made worse by the fact I do alot of off road driving in a bouncy jeep) and branch off in different directions. Mine certainly isn't the worst I've seen whilee googling pilonidal sinus. If the wound was closed up and left to heal it would have formed a kind of pocket on the skin which would then keep on getting infected(or at least have the potential to). i do believe during WW2 this was known as "Jeeps disease".

Am I the only one who doesnt think that even looks real!??
Well it certainly feels bloody real!

New photos are coming. Just want to make sure theres a difference in the ones posted and the new ones to show how its healing

I've been looking on this website for about a year now. Every gory vid or pic I have is already here so could never really contribute anything. Well, I had a Pilonidal sinus (ingrown hair) removed 3 weeks ago today and decided to get my wife to take a nice pic of it. I know its not much but it grossed me out knowing my body is like that!
That`s amazing that an ingrown hair could do that. WOW

So 14 months on and finally an update! Its been fully healed with no pain since around September last year. I tell you, it was AWESOME to be able to sit properly and lay on my back again! God damn I'm a hairy mofo!
