Re: Meet The 10oz Miracle Baby
One reason I'm afraid to have kids: The heartache of situations like this where you're afraid to even blink in case your child dies. Not being able to touch your own child or help any way whatsoever. These two stories ended on a better note, but just thinking about the other side of the scale is just heartbreaking.

Re: Meet The 10oz Miracle Baby
I like happy endings, too I thought my great niece was tiny at 5 pounds and 6 weeks early. Her mom had to go to the hospital to pump milk a few times a day. She wouldn't nurse. She was on a heart monitor. She also had a vein next to her nose that looked like she was punched in the eye. He swelled quite a bit and doctors didn't want it to affect her vision. She's all better now Now, at almost 5 1/2 months, she weighs 16 pounds. |
