Re: Meet The 10oz Miracle Baby

Amazing! My kids almost broke records at the hospital they were born. Although not this small these images are all too familiar. Mine were born at 25 wks, weighing 1.6 and 1.9.Both fine today at 6 years old. They have minor cp on a scale of one to ten its less than a one and one had heart surgery first two days of his life. Scariest day of my life and an agonizing three months watching my kids on machines. Very greatful for modern technology, they say ten years ago this would not of been possible.

Re: Meet The 10oz Miracle Baby

One reason I'm afraid to have kids: The heartache of situations like this where you're afraid to even blink in case your child dies. Not being able to touch your own child or help any way whatsoever. These two stories ended on a better note, but just thinking about the other side of the scale is just heartbreaking.
My son was born at 26 weeks and it was not easy at all, the stress of worrying what may happen and things that did happen resulted in me losing some of my hair. Luckily it grew back but yes it's hard. You just want to pick them up and protect but you can't.
