Isn't the whole point of law to determine guilt? I guess in some desolate wasteland, though, there isn't exactly an option for chemical castration.

Having worked sex crimes for a while I know first hand that castration sounds wonderful and a very cheap and satisfying solution to child molestation and rape, but (and it's a big but...) physical castration and chemical castration aren't necessarily good things. Sometimes (read, often) castration of any kind can and will make the child molester and/rapist more aggressive. And since they can't use their miserable peckers, they tend to murder their victims instead. Didn't know about that little secret did ya? Don't forget...many child molestations and just about all rapes are crimes of violence...NOT SEX. So when you take away the pervert's favorite weapon, then the substitute other weapons...like knives and guns. The one thing that I learned about child molesters is that they cannot ever be cured of pedophillia...EVER...NO MATTER WHAT. It would be like trying to make a heterosexual into a homosexual...or in my case...trying to turn me into a handwringing, bed wetting, liberal pacifist...it's just not gonna happen. So if you wack off their wangers their diminished minds are still going to want to molest and hurt children or women...you can't really fix them. Interesting isn't it?

If only. Unfortunately our society is made up of a certain percentage of hand wringers and bed wetters who get a case of the guilties with these guys. Most people only look at these pedophiles and see the well maintained shell...they see a normal looking, fairly educated, clean cut, working, taxpayer...what they can't (or won't) see is the monster thst lurks within these guys. It takes a long time working with these idiots to really understand what they are. The limp wrists always what to give these guys treatment and any treatment is just a bandaid and temporary at best. If you were Black and preferred short Black partners...if someone wanted you to prefer tall White redheads...how effective would that be? How about this...if you were Catholic and someone wanted you to switch to Islam...would that work? If so...for how long? These guys are what they are...they might want to change, but it never ever works. It would be great if we kept them locked up forever or killed them outright, but there's no way that's going to happen.
