Not really. In fact shaving makes it worse for those predisposed to ingrown hairs. It's most often caused by the hair growing diagnally rather then straight out. My dad would get them occasionally. He was italian and had coarse curly hair. Scrupulus in his hygeine and insisted on shaving with those old double sided blades that probably made this worst. He saved very hard due to his thick facial hair and would have a 5 o clock shadow by the end of the day. This guy seems to have pockets of sebum in with the hair, so they've probably been there a while. My dad's would appear as dark spots under the skin and often would come out more like a clock spring.

I'm with you there janedoe.my ex used to get a few from waxing so she used to ask me to pull them out, she was brunette who used an inhaler in her teen years which can make you more hairy than normal.Anyway picture this she had not long got out the bath came down stairs into the kitchen where the light is real good with the tweezers with a do you mind please look in her eyes but I never minded. Anyway she told me she thought she could feel one underneath so up went her cotton dress she wore for bed and was bent over the table, now I could not find it so she has her hand between her legs my head was quite well in there when the backdoor opened with her mum, dad and brother and sisters in tow. We did explain and even giggled later while the drinks were flowing   |

I had to stop the video about 3 seconds after he pulled the second one out. It was making me feel ill... it was worse than watching someone getting their head blown off. If ever I found hairs like that on my body, I think I would faint... no joke.
