Why not? There is nothing about his physical self that could offend (read: no sexual organs showing) even the most puritanical or overtly religious person. To be frank, without a cock and balls showing (or breasts and labia/etc) then the religious persons responsible for the shame most feel at the human body is wholly unnecessary (I feel it's wholly unnecessary in the first place but that's me). I'm utterly done with men and women being made to feel/think their bodies - a goddamned miracle if there ever was one - are 'things' to be ashamed of. Are we not more enlightened than that? No, but we should be. Then perhaps eating disorders and self-mutilation (I'm not talking about most tattoos or piercings, which are meant as adornment purposes) will become a thing of the past. Anyway, I'd have been bloody proud to stand with him, naked or clothed. What an incredible fellow, what a sad loss to the world. |

Actually, I should amend the first statement as my younger sister is a Mormon and his nakedness would offend her and her people...and probably others. His nakedness shouldn't offend them either, as I said - he's not sexualized in these shots at all and there are no visible genitalia present.
