Those maggots are likely what was keeping him alive as they eat away at the infection, keeping at bay as opposed to contrary belief that they cause it. There have been a few vids like this posted here, but I've yet to see one where the treatment and/or before/after shots are included. Now that would be interesting to see! |

I think the magots could have been purposely positioned in the wound/infection because they are sometimes used in medicine to eat away rotten flesh. This makes the job's of the doctors easier and they are better done because of the precise consumption. Once done (and they only eat dying flesh) they are removed. So, cheap attempt at another homemade remedy based on a gr.2 education or just a really fucked up infection? We'll never know.  But good post!  |

Just as leeches are used in certain situations, so are maggots. This guy got some sort of infection, and what better than maggots!!? You won't see this in the US, but still a solution to the issue. Here in civilized civilization we give antibiotics And fix the patient up the old fashioned way..with stitches and antibiotics  |
