It's easier to turn a pole into a hole rather than a hole into a pole, these people truly go through hell to have this done, also the cost is astronomical! I have seen some when I ended up on the weird side of you tube that didn't even resemble a penis, it looked more like a freaking forearm or some shit, for real.

Not really. A couple of studies put it very low, around 2-3% of patients may regret surgery. I'm sorry for your friend, but the vast majority of people don't regret their surgeries.
