Major Lower Leg Injury From Being Hit By Bus

45 year old male sustained a major leg injury when he was driving a two wheeler and hit by a bus, he sustained:

- A subtotal amputation of his right lower limb

- Grade III C grossly contaminated fracture both bone leg with bone loss

- Near Circumferential soft tissue loss around the fracture

He was managed by surgical debridement , External fixation, repair of all divided tendons followed by anterolateral thigh flap coverage.
