Re: M.S. Sucks!

Hi Kim, I've been on Tysabri for 18 months & it's been a god send...it's stopped all my MS symptoms except the fatigue...if injecting becomes too much for you (like it did with me) then I urge you to talk to your neuro about starting on Tysabri...life for me is normal again
Good luck xx
My neurologist wants me to do Tysabri. It's just soooooo expensive here. They make you do a hospital stay. The nurse here in town that is charge of the infusions wants me to do it too. I'm really not a fan of the hospital.
I'm very glad that it's working out so well for you. I tend to have problems with anything IV. Usually an allergic reaction, pain and massive vein irritation.

Re: M.S. Sucks!

all the best hun, MS is cruel, one day hopefully they will have a cure or even a vaccination for it. Any ideas on stem cell reasearch and MS?
I'm all for stem cell research. It's my opinion that stem cells will be what will end up curing MS.

Re: M.S. Sucks!

if you aren't allergic to bees, have you looked into bee sting therapy? Something in the venom works wonders for MS symptoms as well as other diseases...they literally stick a bee on you and have it sting ya and there you go... check it out!
