I did the same thing. I kept hitting replay and looping it essentially. He must have used more force when landing and turning than what we could see, because honestly it looked more of a pirouette than anything.

But fucking hell...that's horrible. I was glad to see the guy friends remain calm and call for help though. A lot of guys would either laugh or just be like, "Holy shit, dude!" over and over again.

Re: Kid Breaks Ankle

I get "how" he broke his ankle (contrary to popular belief, I am not that much of an idiot), it just doesn't seem like it would be enough to break his ankle. It just looks like he stumbles and sits down. He barely even twists his body. I have seen less damage inflicted from worse falls, which is why I had to watch it over and over. It just seemed so .......... so ........ phoney, at first.

Wow, that fall was lamer than when my friend fell off a 2 foot high wall and broke both his arms . He must have severely brittle bones.

Re: Kid Breaks Ankle

"Call his mom"?! His ankle is turned totally around and "call his mom" is all they can come up with? That boy is going to be on crutches for LONG time. Kind of sad too considering he didn't real show much skateboarding skill. I mean, that might have been impressive in competition but it's just kind of a lame show, until they show the ankle.
