Heartbreaking! What kind of Dr would handle any baby like that? Obviously the child is not going to survive...but still, why should it live its short life being rough handled?

Yeah and the person who posted that 'abusing' shit was wrong. Anancephalic babies have either absolutely no brain, or the tiniest piece of the stem. They have no self awareness, cannot feel pain, see, hear, etc. usually cannot even breath on their own.

The doctor is performing baby heart compressions so it will live for a few more seconds. As you can see, every time he stops the compressions, the baby falls over. I mean it's basically already dead. It not only cannot feel pain, it can't feel fear or anything like that.

That might be so, and I'm not arguing that because I don't know that, but it doesn't seem like they're treating it like you would treat a normal new born either. They're pretty rough with it and they shouldn't treat it like that even if it has no feelings. It's a pathetic little thing as it is, no need to add insult to injury, is there? Know what I mean?

I totally agree rekr. The way they hold it's arms behind it's back has fuck all to do with chest compressions. Whether it has no self aware doesn't mean you should treat it with no decency. After all you wouldn't go sticking your fingers up in front of a blind persons face just because they aren't aware.

This is why i am pro choice when it comes to abortions. This child and it's parents could of been spared the torment and heartache if they had aborted the fetus when it showed in a scan.
