Guatemala, The students held a demonstration to demand the change of director for the Ministry of Education (Mineduc). The Ministry confirmed hours later that it had fired the director.

Rescuers were alerted and moved the injured students to Roosevelt Hospital. The identity of the motorist is unknown.

Roosevelt Hospital confirmed that eleven students, nine women and two men had been admitted. A student who was in a delicate condition suffered amputation of her right leg.

The adolescent remains hospitalized in the Intensive care unit.

The National Civil Police (PNC) confirmed that the vehicle was located on 12 avenue in zone 7 inside a public parking lot.

The Honda has dents on the pilot's door. Also the windshield is broken.

The unidentified driver accelerated so much that smoke came out of the wheels.
