Pretty sure I saw on an episode of QI that pissing on a jellyfish sting can actually make it worse due to bacteria in urine? Stephen Fry said it, so it must be true.  |

But yeah that looks pretty staged tbh. Correct me if I'm wrong but jellyfish don't stick to your face like that when under attack. That's what their super long stinging tentacles are for - attack and escape. Plus, I doubt a jellyfish in open water would be that gelatinous and 'solid'. They're only like that after being washed up and dehydrated, no? Of course, the guy could have actually put a washed up jellyfish on his face intentionally just to make this video? Fuck knows.  |
