I love this video, by the way. I didn't find it gross because I've witnessed similar stuff in person. You don't know how satisfying it is to remove an obstruction, whether it be worms or hair bands.

I can't see it anymore but there was a vid of some Spanish doctors removing worms from a young child, and you should have heard the noise in that room!

Good god that is appalling.

Gallows humor, is what it's sometimes called. When you're laughing and joking around trauma and horror to keep yourself sane. I've heard it often enough in my life to know it's normal and necessary. Also healthy and often hilarious.
