Re: Injuries from an E-cigarettes Exploding
Poor craftsmanship with a high charge lithium battery. This happens all over the world where people are injured or killed by these things exploding. It happens with cellphones too. |

Re: Injuries from an E-cigarettes Exploding
Samsung and LG had a few in the news. Samsung's note 7 was what came to mind. Any lithium ion battery can be dangerous. The world will look back on Li-Ion some day the way we look back on things like Asbestos. Did the job, but at what cost. First hand experience, I had a Boundless terp pen (used for dabbing concentrates) snap in half and the battery vented in my hand. (small burn) Box mods tend to be large batteries in general, either mega potheads or the "bubblegum ponyfruit flavored vape" people use them. Possibly one of those. See a lot of those hoverboards going up in flames in the news as well. |
