Of the many different procedures I do in clinic toenails are the only ones that give me an “icky” feeling. The worst is when the whole nail has to come off.

I underwent this when I was a kid. The worst part of it all was the horrific burning of the lidocaine and the cauterizing chemical. Other than that it was alright

Had one of these a few years ago. I would cut the nail and it would always grow back, into the side of my toe. I dont miss having to bite my teeth and dig out the nail but I do miss the smell. Eventually I went to the doctor and he just took my whole nail off and it grew back fine.
