Re: Infected Cow Leg Spews Pus
Have you never worked on a farm? If so then realize how much work is involved. They didn't "let it get that bad". It's hard enough to keep up with the real emergencies much less a pus leg that will mend with a bit of help. As a child I watched dehorning for dozens of calfs. There was little time to even do more than just run the calfs through the holding jig and shear off the horns. We also dehorned newborn kids. It's much easier when they are little because you just put an ointment on the horn area and it gets destroyed by a chemical. The wound heals and the kid is fine. Much less hammering without the horns. They still head butt but not near so hard. I have had to bitch slap dozens of pushy goats at milking time. I watched whole pens of pigs get their nuts ripped out. Not pleasent but then people still eat the pork so quit whining. We shot skunks at night, possums, and other critters that raided gardens and livestock. Learned to pick up dead chickens in the morning after skunks had spent the night ripping out their guts in an orgy of killing and feasting. They sneak under the roost and rip the ass end out and feast on the bloody entrails while the dumb cluck sits there and loudly clucks and squacks. In the morning you can spot where the chicken was roosting by the bloody roost sticks and the sections of entrails under the roost. Farming is nasty dirty cheap work. When you have worked on a farm for a year you can complain about farmers not doing their job.

Re: Infected Cow Leg Spews Pus
I grew up on a farm and so that is nothing new to me, however the AMOUNT OF SHIT THAT CAME OUT OF THAT COW WAS INSANE! Fuck that, I hated that shit growing up and I hate it now! I would rather watch the Zeta's skin some guys face for a half an hour!! As far as the sick factor goes, defenatly a 10!
