I'm not quite sure how it happens in cows, but basically in humans, an abscess is an out of control pimple. There is an area of infected tissue and the body sends tons of various types of white blood cells and other various organisms to combat the infection. The cavity created by the infection is essentially sealed off by the body and all the dead tissue cells and white blood cells accumulates under the tissue. tl;dr They're huge pimples that really stink when you pop em.  |

Well, first i thought "okay, its a little fountain"... but than it didnt stop to come out... and it went on...and on...and on... And at least i was like "WTF ?!  " ... that had to be like 5(?) Liters of Blood and Pus and whatever...HOLY COW! O_O (guess indian people would make a soup out of this holy-COWered-bloodpusbowl  )

Good God, how long did the cow have the abcess before someone NOTICED?!?! Poor thing probably felt a heck of alot better afterward. Glad I didn't have to clean that up afterward. |
Figured it was something like that, wasn't sure though.
