On the night of Wednesday, September 10, 2025, a man set himself on fire in Guapimirim, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Security camera footage captured him walking down the street carrying a gallon of fuel around 10:08 p.m. He then poured the liquid over himself and set himself on fire. Even on fire, he managed to walk to a gas station, where he waited for SAMU to arrive. The man was rescued and taken to the hospital in serious condition. There is currently no updated information on his condition. |

0:27 second mark: The Dance of Instant Regret. People with these kinds of burns usually do not survive. Even though he appears conscious in the pictures, death usually comes from severe sepsis. |
