The rifle blew up. The idiot had it muzzle down in the dirt. Plugged bore=blown up rifle,when it exploded chunk of steel cut off the end of his thumb,he's lucky it really wasn't much worse. = |

Nah, I think he was using too hot of ammo. Cheap ammo has sometimes more or less gun powder and can cause the gun to blow up. There was a youtuber just 2 weeks ago had this happen to him. He bought cheap tracer rounds off ebay that were too hot and it literally blew the fuck out of his new sniper rifle. BTW, dirt doesn't stop a bullet bro.... |

or rusty bore that suppress slug travels inside the barrel. the pressure of blast has to go somewhere. front or back whichever gave way first.
