Re: I Got My Wisdom Teeth Out Today
My two bottom teeth were surgically removed, they weren't erupting and like you, they were basically coming in completely sideways. The two upper teeth were pjhysically out, but the doctor said there ewas a cavity on one, so we figured let's just go ahead and yank them out. I had the gas...talk about felt weird! I took the mask off while they went to prep a few other patients to wait for my novocaine to kick in, and the DT came back in and said "No! If you need it off call for one of us, otherwise the gass will leak in the room and affect us too!" |

Re: I Got My Wisdom Teeth Out Today
I didn't have any pain at all after I had mine out. Lucky I guess, you're so much better of without them though!

Re: I Got My Wisdom Teeth Out Today
Mine were impacted and then I had two dry sockets. The dry sockets had to be packed with the nastiest tasting gauze strips. I bled so much I threw up blood for almost 24 hrs. It was awesome. |

Re: I Got My Wisdom Teeth Out Today
Yeah, I split mine in half, impacted ones first, then a few months later, the ones that had erupted were pulled. And I had big probles with the impacted ones, they bruised a nerve in my chin, so my chin was numb for a few months afterwards, then for about 3 weeks afterwards, bone fragments kept working their way through my gums, I had what the doctors called "food traps" so I was given a syringe to blast water at food so I could rinse it out of my mouth, AND two dry sockets at once because I was incredibly stupid and smoked not too long after I had them done. |
