Re: I Cooked My Hand.

Well, besides being handsome, being a distinguished shop owner and devoted single daddy and dog lover, you are one tough SOB (with some cool tats). You know that? Now, drink plenty of water, take your vitamins, get some extra vitamin C, protein and some rest, and think about how NOT to get yourself killed from here on out, you hear? Because sometimes people have these runs of bad luck. So think about it. Take care of you. That said, I think you'll be good as new in no time.
Handsome you say? Well thanks. I'm gonna go with plenty of Budweiser, Dilaudid and I will take some vitamins and I always try my best to not kill myself. Sometimes my best brings me close to the brink though, but I'm still here and plan on being here for a while longer. Thanks choochie.

Re: I Cooked My Hand.

Ah- lookin' much better there, HH. When do they start moving your fingers, or is it too soon for that? Glad the pain is under control! Hang in there!
They have me moving, trying to close my fist now, it's very hard to do though. Thanks for asking.

Re: I Cooked My Hand.

Looking good!
It will hurt for awhile, unfortunately, as the hand has the highest nerve density on the human body. (I cut off the top of my index finger a few years ago, and even after 6 months of regrowth it still hurt like hell if I knocked it against something the wrong way )
I did a hell of a lot more than the tip so I guess I'm in for some real fun. invertigo is that really you in your avatar? If so lose the beard, mustache, and, fake eyebrows and you could be a beautiful woman. How is your finger now after years?

She is!

I've seen a beautiful picture of her.

Re: I Cooked My Hand.

Looking better man. Ways to go yet.. but looking better..
Everyone I know with burns with grafts say that the grafting hurts more than the initial burn itself..
Makes sense considering they basically shave/shred skin off of you.
Don't skimp on the physical therapy.. May be boring and/or painful now, but if you don't stick to it, Having them save that hand will be pretty pointless. (I'd say along the lines of Woody Harrelson in the movie Kingpin.. but you'd have a real hand not a rubber one. )

Take care man.

I'm actually doing a lot more with my hand they they want. I have a mechanics business to run and I heat my house with wood so I'm using it all day every day. Have not tried whacking off yet though.

Although the gore factor...somebody stop me!
